# Privacy Policy — EZ QRCode

This Privacy Policy explains how **EZ QRCode** ("the app", "we", "us") handles
your information. We built EZ QRCode to be private: the QR codes you scan and
create stay on your device. The one exception is advertising, described below.

## What we collect

**Content you create or scan — stays on your device.**
Your scan history, saved QR designs, favorites, and settings are stored only in
local storage on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to
this content. It is never uploaded to us or to any server.

**Advertising data — collected by our ad provider.**
EZ QRCode displays ads using **Google AdMob**. To serve and measure ads, AdMob
may collect device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), approximate usage
and interaction data, and similar technical information. On iOS, we ask for your
permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking used
for personalized ads; if you decline, you will still see ads, but
non-personalized ones. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by
us. See Google's policy linked below.

We do **not** require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or
other personal contact details inside the app.

## How permissions are used

- **Camera** — used only to scan QR codes. The camera feed is processed on your
  device in real time; images are not stored or uploaded by us.
- **Photo Library** — used to (a) read an image you choose so a QR code can be
  generated from it, and (b) save QR codes you create to your photos. We access
  only what you explicitly pick or save.

These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you
to review them.

## Data sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share the QR content you scan or
create with anyone — it never leaves your device. Advertising data is handled by
Google AdMob as described above.

## Children's privacy

EZ QRCode is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in
your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. Because ads may use device identifiers, please supervise use by minors.

## Your rights and choices

- **Your content:** all app content is stored locally. Deleting items in the app,
  or uninstalling the app, permanently removes that local data from your device.
- **Ad personalization:** on iOS you can change tracking permission in
  Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android you can reset or limit
  your advertising ID in system settings.

## Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected
by updating the effective date above and posting the revised policy at the same
URL.
